You don’t need to follow an established route to be able to enjoy the countryside, but here are a few suggestions nevertheless. There is also a whole page of suggested walks in Nidderdale, complete with downloadable walk leaflets at the Nidderdale AONB site. They even have a Kirkby Malzeard Pub Walk, for those that like to keep their refreshment close at hand!
